FRESH FROM OUR NATURALLY-PRODUCED GARDEN

and FARM

GREETINGS from GABRIOLA  - LATEST NEWS!

It's May! The cherry trees are blooming, and most of the fruit trees are showing beautiful colour!

  • We've started to transplant the bedding plants. Nasturtiums, sweet peas, sunflowers, and veggies will be available soon. Also 1 gallon assorted fruits - gooseberry, raspberry, saskatoon, and more. Plant packs will be available at the farm gate stand for sale - we will post what's available and ready on our FB page.

  • A few Website updates: 1. We have added subscription options to some of our products - starting with our tea blends. If you have favourites that you have ordered in the past, consider subscribing to a regular shipment of your favourite tea at a modest discount. Just click the Subscription option when you pick your tea and go from there. 2. You can also buy eGift Cards through our site. Just click on Gift Cards and following the prompts.

  • Our sister site - Sea-to-Sky Apothecary will be up and running by around October 2022. An abundance of new energy, new platform, and new growth in the creativity department and we can't wait to share it all with you

  • Farmers Market season will be starting on Sunday May 22, and we will still continue to sell most products, including some any produce in season on Localline (Gabriola Agri Coop). If you are local to Gabriola go to https://www.localline.ca/gabriolafarmersmarket and sign up (for free) as a customer, peruse the weekly catalogs, and get your order delivered straight to you. Easy peasy.  You can also order directly off the website here, and if you are local to the Island, just click the FREE PICKUP option at your checkout.

  • A few new items are entering the store. New varieties of mustards - choose from Ukrainian style Hot, Peach Habanero, and Maple Chipotle. Garlic and Onion Infused Vinegar, Strawberry Sriracha hot sauce, and Apple Cardaromon Gourmet dessert syrup are coming up.

  • Sadly, we also had a slight price increase on a few products - raw ingredient costs have gone up, and of course these have to be taken into consideration when manufacturing our product. Many products have remained at the same cost as last year, but the odd category has been shifted price-wise by a small amount.

  • Last but on least, we finally got accepted as a vendor at the BC Ukrainian Cultural Festival. This will be be happening on Saturday May 7 at the Clarke Theatre, in Mission. Loads of Ukranian food, fun, activities and vendors all honouring Ukrainian heritage and supporting Ukrainian-owned businesses (like us!)

We will continuously post updates on this homepage. In the meantime, feel free to browse the About Us, the Blog and Store pages for related Farm Products. And don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram too.

Here's to good growth and health / ASF
